Casework Team

Our Casework Service offers expert guidance and advice to help you resolve cases quickly, maintain good employee relations and minimise the risk of procedural and legal challenges.  

The Casework Service is available to primary and secondary schools, special schools, academies and PRUs within and beyond Nottingham City.

Our services include:

• Comprehensive solution-focussed casework support from professionally qualified and experienced advisors
• Support on Informal and formal resolutions on disciplinary, grievance, absence and performance management matters
• Advice on early intervention strategies to facilitate possible informal resolutions
• Support for headteachers and managers at disciplinary, performance, grievance and attendance related meetings
• Advisory support for headteachers, governors and managers at formal hearings
• Support with preparing what can often be complex and sensitive case correspondence
• Advice and guidance with presenting management cases at hearings

HR Advisory: Six days or 45 contact hours, with a named casework advisor.

HR Advisory Plus: Additional 14 hours of advice, in either Casework or Service Redesign.
