Early Years Foundation Stage

The Early Years team provide an extensive range of training opportunities including several exciting newly developed courses led by renowned Early Years Specialists.

Having noted comments from previous course evaluations, Ofsted inspection feedback, EYFSP data and also consulted with a wide range of practitioners we have commissioned and developed several new exciting courses for the coming year which feature in our 2018 – 19 Teaching and Learning CPD Brochure.

The theme of our conference this year is Maths in the Early Years, ‘Maths + Memorable Interactions = Magic!’  builds on the success of our F1 and F2 research projects. Featuring renowned specialists the conference demonstrates how maths is part of our everyday lives and how any activity can support mathematical concepts.

There is more excitement to come in March 2019 when we will be privileged to welcome Professor Ferre Laevers of The University of Leuven, Belgium who will be presenting ‘Spotlight on the Leuven Scales’, an introduction to the Leuven Scales for well-being and involvement.
