Please note the EPS are no longer offering the platinum package, however settings are still able to buy more than 15 sessions in total. To do so, please select 'gold' and purchase an additional top up of however many gold sessions to get to the number of session you require. It is important that these are purchased together to ensure you get your required number of sessions, as the EPS will not be in a position to add further top up during the academic year.

1 Year Service Packages

The Educational Psychology Service offers a range of one-year packages of support, (Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum) which are outlined in the table below.  An EP session is 3 hours.  Information on how your EP can support you in these sessions is available in our Service Brochure and you can further discuss this in your EP planning meeting.

Additional sessions can also be added to a package at the time of purchase to customise your level of support.

Should a setting wish to purchase additional sessions during the academic year this may be possible, however this is subject to service capacity.  Requests for mid-year additional sessions should be made via email to CEPStraded@nottinghamcity.gov.uk. 

Information to Note on EP Packages

Settings are responsible for the paced and timely use of their EP package.  Their link EP will support with this, however if a school is unable to use the full package within the one-year contract then there is no carry over.

Ad Hoc Sessions

Ad hoc sessions are a service offer for settings who do not purchase an EP package but may wish to purchase a number of sessions.  Ad hoc sessions may be possible to purchase during the academic year, however this is subject to service capacity.  Any ad hoc requests should be made via email to CEPStraded@nottinghamcity.gov.uk  Please note a minimum of 1 session must be purchased. Ad hoc sessions are charged as follows:

ELSA Training and Supervision

The EPS provides both ELSA training and ELSA supervision.  For enquiries, pricing information and bookings please contact ELSAtraining@nottinghamcity.gov.uk.

Cancellation of sessions

1. Cancellation by EPs

If for any reason (e.g. illness) an EP is unable to deliver a planned session, the service will consider the following options with school:

·        Alternative staff member to deliver session

·        Agree alternative date

·        Reimburse school for service that has not been provided

2. Cancellation by school

If a session needs to be cancelled, the school should inform the EP as soon as possible.  The EP can then rearrange or book in another piece of work.

If cancelling sessions affects the ability to deliver all purchased session during the year, then some sessions may be lost.

If a school is unable to use the full package within a financial year there is no carry over.

Travel Expenses

There is no charge to Nottingham City Schools for a visit over 1 ½ hours

For schools beyond the Nottingham city boundary (but within the Nottinghamshire County boundary) travel expenses are added to the cost and are calculated at 50 pence per mile from and returning to NG8 3BP using the quickest journey indicated by Google Maps.

Where schools beyond the Nottingham City boundary have purchased a package of support, they will usually be charged for travel expenses for each visit to the school.

Traded rates for settings other than schools (within the City)

A quote for the service offered will be provided and agreed before starting the work. The setting will then be invoiced at the end of the piece of work.
