Holiday Activities and Food (HAF)
Applications for HAF grants for 2026-27 are now open.
Nottingham City Council is pleased to announce that the Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) programme has been extended for a further three years.
We are now inviting applications from schools and other organisations to deliver holiday clubs during spring, summer, October half-term and winter holidays.
The deadline for applying is Monday 26th January 2026
We are keen to receive applications from schools and would also be grateful if schools would share this opportunity with local partners and organisations who may be interested in applying.
Together, we can create amazing holiday experiences for children and young people across our city.
The HAF programme is funded by the Department for Education.
ACTION NEEDED

- Complete the application form
- Complete the provider statement
- Complete the budget template and email to haf@nottinghamcity.gov.uk
You will be notified on 16th February as to whether your application has been successful.
Successful applicants will be required to attend mandatory training on how to use the new portal. Training will be delivered via MS Teams. Please ensure a suitable member of your team is available on one of the following dates:
• Monday, 23 February 2026 | 4:00–5:30pm
• Tuesday, 24 February 2026 | 12:00–1:30pm
