Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund Demonstrator

Funded by BEIS Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund Demonstrator (SHDFD), we're helping us achieve Nottingham’s carbon neutral ambition by retrofitting 104 homes, reducing fuel poverty and carbon emissions.  

We're building upon our Whole House Retrofit project, which is part-funded by BEIS. We're testing delivering deep retrofit incrementally. This is designed to create an approach that works for social housing providers' asset management strategies, while still delivering net-zero homes ready for 2050. 

This second phase will put our learning into action, building more evidence for the approach as well as creating new local jobs and helping scale up innovative practices like offsite construction.
