Home Leisure and Culture Libraries Adult Learning Courses

All events temporarily suspended | We have temporarily suspended all events and are in the process of re-arranging, please see our Nottingham City Libraries Coronavirus page for more info

We are running courses in our libraries throughout the year on a variety of subjects - all designed for people  who are looking to learn something new, fill skills gaps, explore an interest, build up confidence, or those considering voluntary work or moving into employment.

These courses are for everyone aged 19+ and the great thing is, you don't need any prior skills or qualifications to sign up - plus the courses are free if you're in receipt of certain benefits or on a low income.

New courses coming soon!

Keep checking back here for updates.

Nottingham City residents who meet the following criteria are entitled to our course free of charge if they:

◆ Are unemployed and in receipt of benefits
◆ Are job-seeking or working and earning below £16,009 annual gross salary
◆ Have lived in the UK or an EU country continuously for the last three years on the first day of their intended course

Learners who haven’t lived in the UK or EU for the required three years are eligible if they meet the selected criteria. Contact us for further details.
